Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Coordinator to join our team at MedNorth Health Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process patient registration and assist patients as needed, ensuring all fields in the registration are completed
  • Ensure patients are being scheduled appropriately for providers, following the provider scheduling guide
  • Follow standardized front office workflows
  • Ensure a positive patient experience by providing excellent customer service and training on AIDET principles
  • Complete daily tasks timely
  • At check-in: update demographics and ensure annual data requirements are met
  • At checkout: ensure all data has been collected, follow-up appointments are made or in process, and process patient collections
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare environment
  • Experience with practice management systems, ability to access online eligibility & verification systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
  • Cognitive reasoning, clear thinking in high-pressure situations, and ability to prioritize and withstand pressure
Benefits:
  • Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
