Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Phoenix

Leica Biosystems is a global leader in cancer diagnostics, and we're seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Phoenix. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing installation, maintenance, and repair support for our customers, ensuring their diagnostic equipment is functioning optimally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide installation and maintenance support for mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and refrigeration instruments
  • Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner to meet ISO, FDA, and Leica policies
  • Actively support the sale of service contracts and assist sales representatives and service team members with system configurations and upgrades
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree with 3+ years of experience or 5+ years of equivalent technical work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 90% daily with frequent overnights
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in diagnosing and repairing medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments
  • Field Service Engineering experience
  • Networking/IT system upgrades experience
