We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team as a Tenant Improvement Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities- Schedule and Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Manage Project Schedules and create accurate 3-week look aheads to ensure smooth project execution.
- Enforce Company Policies and model our company culture to ensure a positive work environment.
- Maintain a Safe Work Environment by conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
- Recognize and Resolve on-site challenges and issues to ensure project success.
- Perform Quality Control duties to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Communicate with Project Team regarding drawings, RFIs, and material submittals.
- Ensure Subcontractor Compliance with contracted scope of work and safety standards.
- Coordinate Inspections with local jurisdictions to ensure project compliance.
- Identify and Resolve Conflicts in construction progress to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain Daily Logs of activities on the job site to track progress.
- Develop Proficiency in Autodesk and utilize it to manage projects.
- Ensure Subcontractor Compliance with project team-identified deficiencies.
- Conduct Weekly Subcontractor Meetings to coordinate work and resolve issues.
- Issue Notices of Non-Compliance to subcontractors as needed.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Job Site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure Proper Signage is posted on-site to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Perform Job Progress and Punch List Identification and completion to ensure project success.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional experience a plus.
- 5+ Years of Commercial Construction Experience at a General Contractor.
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience as a Superintendent supervising project teams.
- Prior Experience with Commercial Tenant Improvements (banking and retail project experience strongly preferred).
- Proven Track Record of Successful Budgeting, Negotiating, and Scheduling.
- Ability to Read and Interpret Project Design and Plans correctly.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Programs, Project Management Software (Autodesk or similar), and Scheduling Software (MS Project or similar).
