Job Title:

Principal/Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer General Specialist

Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer General Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of acceptance test plans, test schedules, and test procedures and provide support for integration testing.
  • Support and host test planning working groups.
  • Interface with design and analysis functions to develop test and test data requirements.
  • Coordinate test equipment and personnel requirements for safe and efficient execution of tests.
  • Provide test execution support and make real-time decisions regarding safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Participate in post-test data evaluation and discrepancy resolution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM)
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with a BS Degree, 3 years engineering experience with a MS degree in STEM Field, or 0 years with a PhD in STEM Field
  • Experience in a system test environment
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience that includes test planning, execution, and operations
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Active Special Program Access (SAP)
Salary Range:

$97,500 - $146,300
