We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UofL Health's Jewish Hospital. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations according to established protocols set forth by the medical director.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic examinations with a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of radiation protection and safety during all radiographic examinations.
- Prepare for and assist the radiologist with intricate radiographic examinations.
- Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy and procedure as well as state and federal regulation.
- Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- KY Radiation Operator's Certification.
- CPR-Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
Graduate of a JRC-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
