Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer II - Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Raleigh NC office location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections.
  • Perform routine and complex design of cast-in-place concrete slabs.
  • Develop a strong understanding of general renewable energy nomenclature.
  • Assist with the development of scope, schedule, and budgets for projects.
  • Assist with the management of projects and tasks.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing and proposal materials.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of structure and/or bridge design experience required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in structural design software packages, specifically LPile, Mathcad, Excel.
  • Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for plan development.
  • Proficiency with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans.
