Nightwing is seeking a dedicated Lead Configuration Specialist to enhance our Configuration and Data Management Department. This role is pivotal in supporting product lifecycle management and involves a diverse range of technical and administrative responsibilities, primarily focusing on Software Configuration Management (SWCM) program support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks in alignment with the program's configuration and data management strategy.
- Identify configuration requirements.
- Facilitate Engineering Review Boards (ERBs).
- Manage software version control systems.
- Oversee the capture and release of software builds and associated documentation.
- Administer software licensing.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Process media requests efficiently.
- Review documentation for compliance with program standards.
Essential Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of configuration management and software development principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio).
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory for security clearance eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of an active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand product structures.
- Familiarity with documentation management systems for configuration control.
- Experience with software management tools such as ClearQuest, ClearCase, Subversion, and GitHub.
- Knowledge of Agile/DevOps methodologies.
