Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Legal Counsel to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide strategic legal guidance and support to our executives, directors, and departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal counsel to executives, directors, and departments on various legal topics, including compliance, risk management, employment, contracts, and joint ventures.
  • Lead the Risk Management department, including directing risk mitigation and management strategies, insurance coverages, and programs.
  • Develop and lead legal strategy to promote and protect the company's interests.
  • Prepare and present effective written and oral reports, recommendations, policies, and procedures.
  • Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor Degree
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of legal experience, including substantial experience in healthcare law, contracts, non-profit organizations, and commercial transactions.
  • Minimum of five (5) years management experience
  • License to practice law in the state of Arizona
