Job Summary

As a Business Operations Team Lead at Sam's Club, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail stores. Your primary responsibility will be to assist management in supervising associates, communicating goals and feedback, and providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist management in supervising associates and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate goals and feedback to associates and provide direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques.
  • Train associates on processes and procedures and ensure they are equipped to provide excellent member service.
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
  • Support the Open Door Policy and ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop and implement processes and practices to meet business needs and improve member satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • 6 months retail experience, including operating front-end equipment and customer service experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire associates.
  • Ability to analyze and apply information from multiple sources to make informed decisions.
