About the Role:
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and technologically adept individual with a background in the construction sector. The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of project documentation and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Timely Project Documentation:
    Ensure that all project documentation is delivered in a timely and high-quality manner. This includes:
    • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
    • Completing submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), pay applications, and potential change orders.
    • Utilizing AutoCAD for drawing reviews.
    • Updating documents using Microsoft Office tools.
    • Managing data through Excel spreadsheets.
    • Communicating job cost phasing with site personnel.
  2. Project Schedule Management:
    Maintain and update the project schedule by:
    • Communicating updates to all stakeholders.
    • Monitoring field worker timecards using KeyStyle.
    • Creating and updating project schedules with P6.
    • Understanding critical paths and contract timelines.
    • Preparing for project meetings with an updated schedule.
    • Creating and maintaining a three-week look-ahead schedule.
    • Ensuring adherence to budget and project phases.
  3. Support for Project Management:
    Provide timely assistance to the Project Manager by:
    • Maintaining communication with the owner representative.
    • Conducting SWPPP inspections and submitting required documentation.
    • Preparing and submitting traffic control plans.
    • Coordinating mobilization plans.
    • Collaborating with utility companies and Blue Stakes.
    • Obtaining necessary permits.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year in an administrative or receptionist role.
  • Experience in a construction environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
