Job Description

As a Technical Writer at Advance Services, Inc., you will be responsible for creating, editing, and revising technical documents to support various projects and initiatives. Your primary duties will include originating, editing, and revising technical documents, such as project and product documentation, component specifications, and manufacturing operating procedures. You will also be responsible for creating and ensuring that various types of documentation are accurate, readable, well-organized, and geared toward the intended user of the documentation. Additionally, you will assist engineering functions in gathering, organizing, and formatting information for inclusion in various project or system documents. You will also participate as an active team member in cross-functional teams and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Originate, edit, and revise technical documents, including project and product documentation, component specifications, and manufacturing operating procedures.
Create and ensure that various types of documentation are accurate, readable, well-organized, and geared toward the intended user of the documentation.
Assist engineering functions in gathering, organizing, and formatting information for inclusion in various project or system documents.
Participate as an active team member in cross-functional teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
