Job SummaryAs an Accounts Payable Assistant at Ameri-Force, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely processing of vendor invoices and special projects. You will work closely with the Cash Management Supervisor and/or Manager to maintain internal contacts with Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, and external contacts with suppliers. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process supplier invoices for completeness, accuracy, and proper authorization.
  • Answer supplier/buyer inquiries on a daily basis.
  • Resolve supplier/Supply Chain Management/Warehousing invoice-related problems.
  • Analyze the AP Error/Exception Report and make timely corrections/resolutions.
  • File and open mail on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime, if needed.
  • Assist with Special Projects (i.e. Sales Tax).
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance environment.
  • Knowledge of the Accounts Payable system.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting procedures.
  • Computer literate with data input accuracy.
  • Good communications skills and a team player.
  • Actively participates in implementing and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, improve quality, reduce cycle time, and reduce costs.
