Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Development Engineer to join our New Product Development Team. This position is responsible for leading multiple engineering projects, including new product development, cost reduction, and quality improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision for product development of water filtration systems.
  • Plan and execute projects on time and on budget.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the Stage Gate based product development process.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create requirements documentation, drawings, labels, etc.
  • Quickly learn new technologies, processes, and systems.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and utilize problem-solving tools to resolve issues.
  • Support Quality in conducting root cause analysis on returned products and complaints.
  • Make objective, data-driven decisions and organize documentation to support them.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience managing product development using a Stage Gate process required.
  • Experience in filtration required.
  • Experience with customer interaction and communication required.
  • Experience in high-volume production and manufacturing required.
  • Experience with change management and document control required.
  • Experience with competitive benchmarking and specification development required.
  • Familiarity with NSF/ANSI regulatory certification preferred.
Education
  • BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
