Production Associate

At Baxter, we are committed to saving and sustaining lives through our innovative medical products and therapies. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate - Fill to join our team.
Job Summary:The Production Associate - Fill will be responsible for inspecting, printing, filling, and sealing flexible containers that hold IV therapies, premixed drugs, renal therapies, and other sterile solutions. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Filling, assembling, and plugging flexible containers with solutions or premixed drugs at a rate consistent with production needs
- Printing labeling and bar code information on the flexible containers using a computerized printer
- Maintaining the printer by replacing printer foil, ribbon, and making minor adjustments
- Supplying the filling stations with printed bags and other supplies necessary to assemble the flexible container
- Inspecting and ensuring that the printed bags and their components meet quality standards
- Performing and documenting scheduled cleaning activities
- Performing scheduled quality checks using an assortment of gauges and a scale
- Notifying the supervisor and taking appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical, or discrepancy issues occur
- Sustaining a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members
- Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings
- Must be able to perform basic mathematics
- Possess or be able to obtain Inspector Certification
- One year of manufacturing experience, preferred
- CRC (Career Readiness Certification) at the Silver level, preferred
- Shift flexibility to trade shifts and leverage overtime opportunities
