Role Summary:
The Game Room Operations Specialist is tasked with overseeing the daily functions and upkeep of the gaming area and all entertainment units within the facility. This role ensures that all gaming equipment adheres to safety regulations and operates effectively. In addition to technical responsibilities, this position includes managerial duties, supervising the gaming area and redemption section, which encompasses inventory management, vendor relations, and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
Education: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Experience:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a gaming environment is advantageous.
- At least 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
- At least 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
- At least 2 years of experience in computer maintenance.
- At least 2 years of experience in network maintenance.
Skills: Applicants must be at least 18 years old, capable of leading a team, exercising sound judgment, memorizing essential job functions, and effectively communicating in writing and verbally.
Health Considerations: Candidates who are currently infected with or are aware of a communicable disease that is transmissible through food handling will not be considered. Compliance with health regulations and dress code policies is mandatory.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and move in a fast-paced environment for up to six hours; frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of up to 30 pounds is required; must maintain regular attendance and be proficient in using various kitchen and maintenance equipment.
