Radiology Technologist Operating Room Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth Outpatient Center.
- Under minimal supervision, perform basic to complex Operating Room diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.
- Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations.
- Complete established competencies for the position.
- Operate imaging equipment, C-Arms, O-Arms, prepare examination rooms, and maintain equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs throughout the patient care areas to include but not limited to: OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, and placements.
- Assist practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, and OR procedures.
- Practice proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
- Perform all Quality control checks, as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate QC logs, service records, etc.
- Practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
- Investigate promptly and follow up on unusual incidents and communicate with Manager/Director.
- Take department call as assigned.

Required Skills:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent, Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology, Graduate of a 2-year accredited school of Radiology Technology.
- Licensure/Certification: Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT) Certificate, Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License, Current BLS certification.
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience specific to surgical/diagnostic radiological exams, Experience using C-Arms in an Operating room, Must possess independent decision-making skills, Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
