About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our environmental restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex projects, with a focus on environmental remediation and restoration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical scopes of work and conduct presentations to clients and regulators on technical approaches and project findings.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates with defensible assumptions and competitive bids, and prepare subcontractor bid packages and evaluate planning and scheduling options for long-term projects with multiple, simultaneous tasks.
  • Manage technical and field staff to accomplish goals, with a focus on staff development and growth.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including ADEC, USEPA, USFWS, BLM, and AK native communities.
Requirements
  • A degree in engineering or environmental sciences or related scientific degree with professional licensure (PE, CPG, etc.) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience managing environmental investigation, remediation or restoration projects for federal or state government agencies; minimum of three years in Alaska.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal regulations, including CERCLA, RCRA, and State of Alaska regulations for contaminated sites.
  • Current HAZWOPER certification per 29 CFR is preferred.
