Special Education Instructional Coach

Northampton, Massachusetts, United States Collaborative for Educational Services Full time

Are you an experienced Special Education Teacher or Administrator looking to make a significant impact on the lives of students and educators? We are eager to connect with you.

We are in search of a dedicated Special Education Instructional Coach for the Western Massachusetts region.

As a forward-thinking non-profit organization, we are committed to delivering tailored and engaging educational experiences for youth involved in DYS/DMH and CHC programs throughout Massachusetts.

We recruit both licensed and aspiring educators who are driven by a passion for teaching and making a difference. Our Special Educators provide support or instruction in small class settings, typically with an average of 5 students, offering flexibility in curriculum design and extensive professional development opportunities.

Students in our programs are diverse individuals—artists, scientists, musicians, college students, and future leaders—who are eager to be recognized, find hope, and contribute positively to their communities. We believe in the potential of every learner and seek educators who prioritize social justice, equity, compassion, patience, and adaptability.

Applicants should possess a Massachusetts secondary teaching license at either the Initial or Professional level in Special Education, with preference given to those holding a Professional license. A proven track record in mentoring and instructional coaching of fellow educators is essential. Please note that unlicensed candidates will not be considered. We may evaluate candidates with a Professional license from other states.

Our educators are part of the Massachusetts Teacher Retirement System, may qualify for Loan Forgiveness and subsidized licensure courses, and enjoy competitive salaries along with outstanding benefits.
