- Orangeburg is looking for a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to become part of a dynamic team in Orangeburg, SC.
About our opportunity:
This position will encompass a diverse range of cases across MUSC Health's facilities in Orangeburg, SC. Qualified applicants should possess experience in administering major vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, and orthopedic anesthesia, along with anesthesia for outpatient surgical procedures. Candidates must also hold certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement:
All candidates must be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Minimum Training and Education:
Candidates must be graduates of accredited Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs and certified or recertified by the National Board on Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. They must also be insurable by MUSC's medical malpractice insurer for the required limits. The minimum educational requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019, is a master’s degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:
Candidates must be recognized as an APRN or be eligible, with a current license to practice or eligibility to obtain practice in South Carolina. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS course is mandatory, along with certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
