The Registered Nurse plays a pivotal role as a leader within the healthcare team at Novant Health by fostering a genuine, personalized connection with patients and their selected support systems. This involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate a tailored care plan that encourages optimal health or facilitates a peaceful transition.
The Registered Nurse employs the best scientific evidence alongside compassion to guide patients through their health journeys.This role encompasses the acceptance of responsibility, authority, and accountability for the management and delivery of care in alignment with current policies and procedures.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 7 AM to 5 PM, Friday 7 AM to 12 PM

Qualifications
Education:
- BSN required; if your license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is necessary prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
- To be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- A 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Experience in Telemetry, CCU, and Cardiac Step-down Unit is required.
- Experience in a Physician Practice Environment and Coumadin Dosing is also required.
Licensure/Certification:
- A current RN license in the appropriate state is required.
