We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Health, Safety, and Environment Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our personnel and stakeholders on site.
Key Responsibilities- Review and verify all health, safety, and environmental documentation issued by contractors and subcontractors.
- Conduct site-specific health, safety, and environmental inductions for personnel.
- Attend regular construction progress meetings to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support the batch leader in organizing health, safety, and environmental events, including awareness-raising sessions and feedback mechanisms.
- Conduct regular health, safety, and environmental visits across all batches to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Monitor and manage waste streams to ensure elimination and proper transportation of hazardous materials.
- Ensure contractors implement and maintain their emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Monitor and report on contractors' key performance indicators (KPIs) on a monthly basis.
- Ensure proper safety coordination requirements are in place.
- Mobilize additional health, safety, and environmental expertise as needed.
- PSCP services experience is essential.
- Experience with OHSAS 18001 Safety Management Systems is desirable.
- Multi-sector construction experience is desirable.
- A full driving license is essential.
- Construction Industry Federation Safety Management CPD Card Holder is essential.
- Proficiency with MS Office and file management systems is essential.
- At least 8 years of applicable experience.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
