We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Lead Technician to join our team at Tecta America Birmingham. As a leader in our industry, we set the highest standards for workmanship, attention to detail, and adherence to manufacturer and industry-approved roofing specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate, locate, and repair leaks and defects in commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, and low-slope metal.
  • Manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance of all types of roof systems, including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and slope (tile/shingles).
  • Train assistant technicians on proper repair techniques.
  • Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
  • Complete required paperwork and attend meetings as necessary.
  • Responsible for Company truck and Company equipment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • 2+ Years experience leading commercial roofing crews.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to work at varying heights and during various weather conditions.
  • Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor, and co-workers.
  • Knowledge of computer/tablets.

Working Conditions

  • Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and temperature.
  • Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting not to exceed 50 pounds.
  • Travel: Local, up to 1 hour away.
