Roofing Operations Manager

Job Overview

Simon Roofing is a leading roofing industry company with over 123 years of experience and 66 locations across the USA. We specialize in roofing services, restorations, and replacements. We are seeking a skilled Service Manager to join our organization at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage safe productivity and inspect job site safety
  • Hire, develop, and lead service crews to ensure timely and cost-effective service to customers
  • Run the safe operation of all service personnel and deliver acceptable gross margins within the branch
  • Lead and communicate with the team to ensure effectiveness between Service and other Simon Roofing divisions
  • Grow local sales volume of the branch

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years of experience in the commercial roofing industry or related construction experience
  • Basic knowledge of computers, including Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to calculate figures and apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record to drive a company vehicle
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to travel when local work is not available
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays in emergency situations

Physical Working Conditions:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Frequently ascend/descend ladders up to 40 feet
  • Remain in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Load and unload material and equipment from various heights
  • Load material and equipment from vehicles on and off the roof

  • Competitive pay, $26.00 to $32.00 per hour range, with an average annual salary of $85,000+
