MITRE is seeking a highly skilled Counterterrorism Assessment Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in assessing the effectiveness of the US Government's counterterrorism efforts and providing data-driven recommendations to decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Strategic Assessments: Leverage your expertise to analyze the operational, organizational, and resource allocation profiles of the US Government's counterterrorism community, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Develop Data Collection Plans: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement data collection plans and tools, ensuring that our assessments are informed by the most accurate and up-to-date information.
- Provide Analytical Support: Utilize your analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of US Government counterterrorism efforts, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop Recommendations: Draw upon your expertise to provide data-driven recommendations to decision-makers, identifying opportunities for improvement and areas for growth.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders across the US Government and external partners to ensure that our assessments are informed by the most accurate and up-to-date information.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of related experience
- Clearance: Current Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI polygraph required
- Skills: Knowledge of current terrorism threat environment, and US Government counterterrorism policies and strategies; ability to apply analytic, quantitative, and qualitative techniques to analyze, evaluate, and recommend appropriate alternatives to complex issues.
- Experience: Experience in intelligence analysis and regional studies; policy, conflict resolution, or research methodologies
- Skills: Knowledge of performance management, including the methods used to evaluate organizational performance against strategic objectives and ability to advise the organizations on the application of evaluation tools.
