Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at DemeTECH Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and organizing the Human Resources Department, including recruiting applicants, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, hiring, training, and development, and terminations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective hiring strategies to meet the organization's needs.
  • Ensure the proper implementation and execution of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and payroll processes.
  • Conduct thorough searches for top candidates using recruiting agencies, networking, and internet resources.
  • Conduct interviews and review applications to match candidates with job requirements.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all required hiring documents on time.
  • Verify references and conduct background checks on job candidates.
  • Provide applicants with information regarding compensation, job benefits, and working conditions.
  • Assist with the orientation and onboarding of new employees, involving key personnel from all departments.
  • Explain human resources policies, standards, and procedures to employees to ensure compliance.
  • Use HR management software to prepare and maintain employee hiring, promotion, transfers, or termination records.
  • Coordinate and ensure the security of personnel files from hire to termination.
  • Track all required monthly in-services, supervisions, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and required health data.
  • Collaborate with the Regulatory & Quality department on employee training and development.
  • Conduct exit interviews and process employment termination paperwork.
  • Monitor department budgets.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) with excellent communication skills.
  • Competent in public speaking and able to establish and maintain cooperative working relations.
  • Excellent customer service skills and proficiency in time management.
  • Ability to interpret and create policies, procedures, and manuals.
  • Ability to interpret and create spreadsheets.
  • Moderate competency with computers and keyboarding, with EXCEL spreadsheet competence preferred.
  • ADP experience is a plus.
Experience

1 year of recent HR experience in filing/data entry, etc., in a manufacturing or similarly related company.
