Telecommunication Network Specialist

The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Telecommunication Technician to join our team in Gunnison, CO. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our telecommunications network. Your primary duties will include:
Key Responsibilities- Installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and infrastructure, including copper and fiber cables, carrier systems, and network devices.
- Performing continuity and conformance testing to ensure network integrity and quality.
- Analyzing and troubleshooting technical problems or issues, using test equipment and technical drawings to identify and resolve issues.
- Interacting with customers professionally and courteously, reviewing and discussing service order requirements, and evaluating customer service needs.
- Identifying and exploring additional revenue generation opportunities.
- Must work varying shifts and hours, including possible mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- May be assigned to work out of town for varying lengths of time.
- Requires a valid state driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- May require compliance with State and Federal Department of Transportation Drive Qualification Regulations, including drug and alcohol testing.
- May require a CDL.
Lumen offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, and voluntary lifestyle benefits, as well as a competitive salary range of $15.07 to $39.83 per hour. This position is eligible for short-term incentives or sales compensation, and Director and VP positions are eligible for long-term incentive.
