Job Description

The role of Vice President, Treasury and ALM II presents an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Treasury team in Pittsburgh, PA - hybrid. As a key member of this team, you will contribute to the year-round stress test and various projects throughout the year. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the annual CCAR stress test execution and mid-cycle stress test, as well as other projects. You will join a talented global team responsible for asset and liability management, capital management, interest rate and liquidity risk management.
  • Performing FR Y-14A net interest income and balance sheet projections for various scenarios. You will collect financial data, forecast inputs/assumptions, run the model/analyses, execute CCAR stress testing, and report the results. Additionally, you will perform attribution analysis, identify key forecast drivers, and prepare presentations for senior management.
  • Ensuring the Balance Sheet Management (BSM) analytics model functions as expected, identifies unexpected/unintuitive results, and troubleshoots any issues. You will also ensure proper controls on the quality and integrity of reports produced for senior management and CCAR committee processes.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve ALM risk measurement and reporting processes. You will work on ALM/QRM model improvements and enhancements, support the validation of models, provide testing and analysis at the request of Model Risk Management, and conduct special projects and ad-hoc analyses/reporting as requested.
  • Providing technical guidance to less experienced team members on complex issues and interacting with key teams across the Firm, including Balance Sheet Modeling, Interest-Rate Risk, OCI, RWA, Capital, SME LOBs, Risk and Audit. You will cultivate relationships with peers in the businesses, Risk Management, Audit, Finance, and Corporate Treasury to ensure efficient collection of data/model inputs.
About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a successful candidate, you will possess a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, including engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, etc. A Master's, MBA, CFA, or CPA/CA is preferred. You should have 7-10 years of total work experience and experience with CCAR stress testing, interest rate risk management, liquidity stress testing, liquidity risk management, and/or asset-liability management within large complex financial organizations is preferred.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience with Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) model with exposure to model development/implementation and reporting.
  • Excellent technical documentation and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex theoretical concepts in simple, easy-to-understand language.
  • Proficient in Excel; knowledge of VBA and SQL is preferred.
