Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Therapy Services: Offer speech and language therapy to students with various communication challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create and execute treatment plans tailored to each student's needs, taking into account their unique goals and objectives.
  • Assess and Evaluate Student Progress: Conduct regular assessments to identify students' speech and language abilities and areas for improvement, making data-driven decisions to inform treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with School Staff: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' speech and language development, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student care.
  • Document Progress and Report Findings: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress, reporting findings to parents and staff to ensure transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid SLP license in the state of Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
