Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a full-time position. As an SLP, you will work with students in a school setting to provide speech and language therapy services, helping them improve their communication skills and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Therapy Services: Offer speech and language therapy to students with various communication challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication.
- Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create and execute treatment plans tailored to each student's needs, taking into account their unique goals and objectives.
- Assess and Evaluate Student Progress: Conduct regular assessments to identify students' speech and language abilities and areas for improvement, making data-driven decisions to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with School Staff: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' speech and language development, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student care.
- Document Progress and Report Findings: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress, reporting findings to parents and staff to ensure transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid SLP license in the state of Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience: Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
