The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a site supervisor for multifamily projects exceeding 100 units or large commercial developments, or a degree in construction management.
  • Strong construction knowledge with the ability to negotiate and manage relationships with subcontractors, city inspectors, field personnel, and suppliers.
  • Experience in overseeing Change Orders, RFIs, budget variances, and deliveries.
  • A solid background in the framing process and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, with Spanish being a plus.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Capability to develop and adhere to construction schedules.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and the ability to enforce them.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and field operations simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with construction management software, including Procore, is preferred.
  • This position requires supervising and inspecting job sites to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules while maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Management: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to company procedures and conducting regular safety meetings with subcontractors.

Blueprint Review: Analyze and annotate plans, identifying errors and coordinating with managers and architects. Ensure that all necessary documentation is provided to subcontractors.

Relationship Management: Foster effective communication with subcontractors, clients, inspectors, and team members to maintain quality and adhere to production timelines.

Documentation Maintenance: Complete and manage all required paperwork to ensure that materials, labor, equipment, and inspections are scheduled and aligned with project timelines.

Quality Assurance: Verify that subcontractors understand project details, check layouts and dimensions, and ensure compliance with fire codes and engineering standards. Manage material orders to minimize waste and ensure timely delivery.

Site Management: Maintain a clean job site by managing scrap and inventory effectively. This position may involve working on various construction projects across multiple locations.

Compensation: Additional compensation includes per diem reimbursements for travel, fuel, and phone expenses. Salary is commensurate with experience, and a bonus structure is available.

Incentives: The Patriot Employee RV Incentive Program is available to select employees after an initial grace period.
