Job Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is a leading semiconductor manufacturing facility seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.
  • Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for retrofit and new construction projects.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering at an ABET accredited institution (including Engineering Technology or Mechatronics).
  • Minimum 4 years' Electrical design and project experience focused in an industrial setting. Semiconductor fab experience preferred.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in state of Texas (or ability to transfer from another state).
  • Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill set.
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
  • Proven success working with all levels of management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis including Pivot Tables, data source linking through VLOOKUP, and simple script creation.
