Job Description:

A Journeyman Electrician is needed to repair electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs, ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations, including the NEC, install and program logic controllers for automation systems, handle low voltage systems, such as security and fire alarm systems.

Requirements:
  • Journeyman license REQUIRED
  • Masters license HIGHLY preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical plans
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently and effectively
  • Experience working on renovation projects is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
  • Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
  • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
