Journeyman Electrician

What You’ll Do:
- Repair electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations, including the NEC
- Install and program logic controllers for automation systems
- Handle low voltage systems, such as security and fire alarm systems
What you need to succeed:
- Journeyman license REQUIRED
- Masters license HIGHLY preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical plans
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently and effectively
- Experience working on renovation projects is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
