Job Summary

WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment to obtain diagnostic ultrasound images.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures on patients to obtain diagnostic images
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Assist radiologists in interpreting ultrasound images
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and ultrasound procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Postsecondary education in radiology or ultrasound required
  • One to two years of diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred
  • RDMS certified or registry eligible
  • BLS certification required
  • Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance, and FBI criminal history check required
