Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Planet Healthcare. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a catheterization laboratory setting.

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab Technologist will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the smooth operation of the catheterization laboratory. This includes preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including disinfecting equipment and disposing of biohazardous waste
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the smooth operation of the catheterization laboratory
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
