- Clinical Research Coordination (40%): Engage in the initiation of research studies, including site assessments, document preparation, and training of study personnel.
- Patient Engagement: Oversee the recruitment, screening, and consent processes for participants, ensuring ethical standards are upheld.
- Data Collection: Conduct behavioral assessments and electrophysiological recordings, while meticulously managing study data entry and documentation.
- Regulatory Compliance (20%): Ensure adherence to federal regulations and institutional policies related to research protocols, including the preparation of IRB applications and regulatory documentation.
- Data Management (20%): Responsible for the creation and maintenance of databases, ensuring accurate data collection and storage across multiple projects.
- Outreach Activities (10%): Participate in initiatives aimed at raising awareness of our research programs within the community.
- Additional Duties (10%): Perform other tasks as assigned to support the research mission.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience totaling 6 years.
- Familiarity with IRB application processes and research regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Office Suite and web-based tracking systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in a clinical research environment.
- Certification as a clinical research professional or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience with data analysis software and neuroimaging techniques.
