Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Lead Cook who will lead a team of cooks in preparing and serving high-quality meals in our dining halls, food courts, or restaurants. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all menu items meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and nutrition.
Salary & BenefitsThe salary for this position is $16.50 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth within our organization. Required Skills & QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous professional cooking experience, preferably in a casual dining setting
- Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work, including ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions, communicate effectively and professionally with customers, supervisors, and peers
- Culinary arts education (certificate, diploma, or degree) or equivalent experience
- Proficient at recipe preparation, short order, and high-volume cooking
This position requires standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, twisting, pulling, and pushing. You must be able to work in extremely hot and cold conditions and lift up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
