Job Title: Technical Data Product Manager

At Sigma Computing, we're seeking a motivated and passionate Product Manager to help us continue to exemplify our company values, enabling our internal teams to make use of standardized data products and assets, which will fuel the continued growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and define the vision and roadmap for large, sophisticated data product workstreams, including building gold data products to standardize business measurement and enhancing and scaling BI tooling to support self-service analytics.
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, Product, Sales, and other key stakeholders at Sigma to ensure that the product offerings address customer requirements and business needs.
  • Clearly articulate vision, important metrics, opportunities, and challenges, and show how their team's work prioritization aligns with those goals and that of the broader data team.
  • Facilitate requests from a variety of stakeholders and objectively prioritize team work across competing interests and business needs.
  • Be a champion of Sigma both internally and externally, sharing our amazing work with the world.
  • Continuously seek feedback around all of our internal and external processes, and look for ways to constantly improve.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Product Management with a focus on building world-class data products.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Highly analytical and collaborative qualities with strong technical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience and comfort solving problems in an ambiguous environment where there is constant change.
  • Tenacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, inspire change, and collaborate with a variety of individuals and organizational partners.
  • Ability to move fast and be a team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience and strong knowledge in data warehousing concepts, big data technologies, and analytics platforms.
  • Snowflake experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Sigma is a massive plus, but not required.
