GoFundMe, a global community of over 150 million people, is seeking a visionary leader to drive the strategic development of our data platform. As the Principal Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for establishing the long-term vision and strategy for our data organization, collaborating with engineering and business teams to ensure timely delivery of platform features and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and maintain the long-term vision and strategy for the data platform.
  • Drive roadmap execution, ensuring timely delivery of platform features and improvements.
  • Partner with privacy, legal, and compliance teams to implement necessary policies and ensure regulatory standards are met.
  • Oversee the integration of new data capabilities into the platform, ensuring technical scalability and security.
  • Ensure the platform supports advanced analytics and business intelligence needs.
  • Continuously assess and improve data quality, ensuring accurate and reliable data across the organization.
  • Foster a data-driven culture across the organization, ensuring teams have the tools and support needed to leverage data in decision-making.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in product management in the data or data adjacent space.
  • Experience in the space of privacy and data governance.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of building, launching, and scaling successful products.
  • Proficiency in understanding and working with data, including data analytics and machine learning concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and translate technical constraints into product features.
