Senior Manager, Software Engineering

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead our product engineering teams within the WFM product family. As a key member of our Engineering organization, you will be responsible for driving the development, quality verification, and delivery of large-scale, high-availability solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and lead operational plans for product infrastructure development, creating new infrastructure components and expanding existing ones.
- Manage the overall software development process, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Lead a team of highly technical engineers through influential and inspirational leadership, participating in hiring, developing, and retaining critical talent.
- Deliver high-quality enterprise-grade solutions under aggressive timelines and within budget.
- Create processes, infrastructure, and a culture that enables a geographically dispersed team to collaborate effectively and create sustained, effective technological engineering practices across multiple competing product initiatives.
- Work closely and in partnership with Product Management, Solutions Delivery, and Operations teams.
- Manage customer escalations when needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of overall engineering experience, including a minimum of 6 years of management and leadership experience.
- Experience building modern scalable UI using RESTful API, JS, and CSS.
- Strong leadership, project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Expert-level technical knowledge of OOP, systems architecture, Java, and related frameworks, modern JScript frameworks, relational databases, CI/CD (tools and processes).
- Hands-on experience architecting and supporting highly scalable solutions.
- Good knowledge of software algorithms and design patterns.
- Successful completion of Verint's background screening process, including employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification, and a credit check for travel-related roles.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
