In this role, you will bring your systems engineering background to a system engineering position where you can make a broad impact on programs and projects critical to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage technical solutions through engagement across multiple teams, partners, vendors, and customers at the mission level.
- Support programs by implementing SAFe.
- Lead the design and development of system/subsystem products with the guidance of senior technical personnel.
- Interact with customers and provide input to project managers on programmatic and technical deliverables.
- Recognized as an expert and thought leader with broad experience across multiple job areas. Communicates within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts.
- Develops or champions new systems, concepts, or technologies. Recommends tactics and strategies that directly impact the achievement of overall business or functional results.
- Provides guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across the company within the area of expertise.
- Responsible for managing large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teams.

- Management of geographically dispersed teams.
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
- 6 years of related experience with a BS in SW Aerospace, Space Systems, or a related discipline.
- Alternatively, 4 years of prior related experience with a Graduate Degree.
- Experience with SAFe or other large-scale Agile implementations.
- Experience with working with software development teams and associated Agile development processes.
- Experience in supporting modeling, simulation, and analysis of software systems.
- Experience with national security space-related problems.
- Experience with Agile approaches to software development.
- Familiar with Java or similar object-oriented languages enabling one to read and follow the logic of the code written.
- Experience working with JSON and XML files often used for data exchange and API definitions.
- Experience with STK/Astrogator/ODTK, Astrodynamics Standards, SOAP.
- Experience in Python, Java, MATLAB, RHEL/Linux.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractors.
- Ability to negotiate solutions among functional groups (Systems Engineering, Mission Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.).
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills demonstrated by related work experience.
- Strong coordination and organization skills with a focus on details.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Digital engineering experience.
- Demonstrated success in leading technical exchanges and interactions with customers.
