Our auction division, JJ Kane, is currently seeking a Client Relations Specialist . The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring Customer Satisfaction, striving to guarantee that our external clients, vendors, consignors, buyers, and suppliers are pleased with our outcomes.
JJ Kane conducts auctions for a variety of used equipment, including bucket trucks, digger derricks, construction machinery, backhoes, skid steers, mini excavators, tractor crawlers, dozers, fleet vehicles, and more. We invite you to explore our company’s rich history through our websites.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Engaging directly with clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Managing auction payouts, liaising with consignors and buyers
- Authorizing purchase orders for Service Centers and other suppliers
- Reviewing accounts payable for auction invoices
- Evaluating images from Service Centers and third-party holding facilities
- Auditing items and directing them to the appropriate workflow status
- Demonstrating consistent progress towards proficiency in training areas (as defined by training objectives)
- Participating in classroom and online training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
- Collaborating with Managers to:
- Develop and maintain streamlined processes for recording buyer-related lot issues for review
- Create and manage a database to track lot issues post-sale to enhance quality
- Establish and maintain a database for tracking refund-related issues
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives when requested
- Performing other duties as assigned
Should the selected candidate possess qualifications that align with a more advanced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted accordingly.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Bilingual - English/Spanish is a plus
- A minimum of three years of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing
- A Bachelor's Degree may substitute for two years of experience
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish is preferred
- Experience in title processing is preferred
- Proficient in PC skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, and other office management applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time and tasks effectively
- Mechanical aptitude and industry knowledge are preferred
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines while delivering quality work
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
