Key Responsibilities:
  • Primarily operate a company-owned vehicle to safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials.
  • Load and unload the vehicle using appropriate equipment.
  • Utilize a hand-held scanning device to monitor items throughout the transportation process.
  • Adhere to operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
  • Exhibit safe and courteous driving practices.
  • Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean and orderly vehicle.
  • Foster teamwork and cooperation with colleagues and clients.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule and be willing to cover various market route activities.
  • Support training initiatives for new team members both in classroom settings and on the road.
  • Assist Logistics Service Representatives (LSRs) during pre and post-route activities.
  • Engage with LSRs during their routes to provide assistance and communication.
  • Monitor route and on-demand activities.
  • Participate in training activities and ride-alongs for new LSRs.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the industry or driving is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
  • Ability to adapt to and work with technology.
  • Must pass initial and random drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required based on local mandates.
