Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at The Residence at Freeman Lake. As a key member of our Resident Care Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Resident Care Director in managing the community and supervising Resident Care Associates.
  • Evaluate resident needs and develop service plans in accordance with state regulatory requirements.
  • Direct and supervise the daily work assignments of resident care associates.
  • Evaluate residents' issues and medical concerns, and discuss with the ED, family, and MD as appropriate.
  • Encourage teamwork and participate in community marketing efforts.
  • Participate in the direct care of residents on an as-needed basis.
  • Provide support to resident care associates regarding assignment questions or concerns, as well as emergency situations.
  • Ensure completion and review of incident/accident reports and implement changes through proper channels.
  • Assist the Resident Care Director with all documentation required by LCB Senior Living or the State.
  • Administer medications and perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
  • Current RN or LPN License in the state of employment.
  • At least two years of experience in a geriatric setting and previous health experience in hospital and/or community setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
Working Conditions

The physical and environmental demands of this position include good physical and mental health, finger and hand dexterity, visual and auditory acuity, and the ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. and carry objects. The ability to push and pull carts, and continuously walk, sit, and stand is also required.
