Job Title: Telecommunications Foreman

Modular Mission Critical is seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Foreman to join our team. As a Telecommunications Foreman, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and scheduling crews to complete assigned work orders, including assigning tasks, ensuring high-quality work, and performing quality inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule work orders to ensure timely completion
  • Assign tasks to crew members and ensure they have the necessary tools and resources
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards
  • Monitor task completion and compliance with safety protocols
  • Collaborate with senior management and supervisory personnel to resolve construction problems
  • Schedule projects in logical steps to meet deadlines
  • Interpret and explain plans to field workers
  • Terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling
  • Install and assemble various pathways and cable tray
  • Install and assemble telecommunications devices
  • Install telecommunications grounding systems
  • Train and supervise technicians and apprentices in a team environment
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure cable installation meets requirements
Requirements:
  • 6 years of experience in commercial communications or construction industry
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Pass a background check and drug test
  • Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
  • Ability to pass basic telecommunications knowledge test
  • Consistently report to work on time and maintain a safe work environment
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Physical Abilities:
  • Lift at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period
  • Relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
  • Work at various heights up to 60 feet and climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and ladders
  • Walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead on a routine and repetitive basis
  • Possess good vision, the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English
