Women's Health Specialist

The Women's Health Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients, including obstetrical and gynecological services. This position requires a strong understanding of patient conditions and the ability to provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
As a key member of our team, you will perform physical examinations, compile medical data, and instruct patients on health maintenance and daily living skills. You will also develop patient management plans, follow hospitalized patients, and assist in the provision of continuity of care.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data
- Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections and basic wound care
- Instruct patients on compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and normal growth and development
- Develop and implement patient management plans and follow hospitalized patients as appropriate
- Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health
- MD or DO from accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible
- Connecticut License
- Federal and State controlled substance licenses
- BLS certification
- Eligible for hospital privileges
- Effective communication, listening, and customer service skills
