About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Pediatric APRN / Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. As a Pediatric APRN / Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of infants, children, and adolescents in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services to infants, children, and adolescents
  • Conduct regular medical check-ups and diagnose acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to address unique patient needs
  • Manage patient medications and coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on preventative care and healthy lifestyle choices

Requirements:

  • Masters of Nursing degree from an accredited institution
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut
  • Current APRN licensure in the state of Connecticut
  • Prior pediatric experience (minimum 2 years) is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is a plus
  • Bilingual applicants are welcome
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
