Job Overview

The Customer Care Advisor serves as a vital link between the company and its clientele, providing essential support and assistance to both customers and the Technical Sales Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engages with clients through various communication channels including phone, email, and online chat to deliver information and assistance regarding products and services.
  • Processes orders for new or additional items while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborates with the Technical Sales Associate to facilitate price discussions and review contractual agreements.
  • Addresses customer inquiries and complaints, escalating complex issues to the appropriate Technical Sales Associate or relevant personnel.
  • Ensures effective resolution of customer issues and concerns, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
  • Keeps detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
  • Monitors inventory levels for specific customer-related products to ensure availability.
  • Assists in project management alongside the Technical Sales Associate.
  • Performs additional related tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication abilities, with a focus on active listening.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong capability to resolve issues.
  • Proficient in computer applications and quick to learn new software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Technical aptitude in mathematics and mechanical concepts is advantageous.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales or customer service is required.
  • Experience in interpreting blueprints is beneficial.
  • Background in rubber, seals, gaskets, or other industrial components is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and non-exempt, typically requiring work from Monday to Friday during standard business hours.
