Position Overview

Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and enhancement of the physical environment at Trademark Camping.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct repairs and maintenance on camp vehicles, facilities, and property.
  2. Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks.
  3. Operate tractors, trucks, trailers, and other vehicles safely.
  4. Utilize various minor equipment and tools in a safe manner.

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Support other departments with facilities-related tasks, such as moving furniture and performing heavier lifting.
  2. Address weather-related challenges, including snow removal and managing water damage.
  3. Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Typical Tasks Include:

  1. Grounds maintenance such as mowing, weed control, and tree removal.
  2. Drywall repair including patching, texturing, and painting.
  3. Minor electrical, plumbing, or HVAC maintenance.
  4. Basic roof repairs.
  5. Minor carpentry tasks, including both rough and finish work.
  6. Light repairs on camp vehicles and equipment.
  7. Occasional operation of heavy machinery like tractors and dump trucks.
  8. Utilization of both mechanized and manual tools.
  9. Moving heavy items such as furniture and equipment.
  10. Performing various physical activities including lifting, bending, and climbing.
  11. Working on uneven surfaces and in confined spaces.
