About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cargo Manager to lead our cargo operations team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our cargo warehouse and airport office.

Starlux Airlines Co Ltd is a brand-new airline from Taipei Taiwan, creating everything from the ground up. Our mission is to provide exceptional service and innovative solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and Implement Cargo Strategies: Develop and implement effective cargo strategies to meet business objectives;
  2. Manage GHA Partnerships: Supervise partnering GHA: monitor work quality, ensure GHA follows Company SOPs and policies on cargo operation, coordinate and communicate with GHA and airport office on cargo operation related matters;
  3. Cargo Operations Management: Be responsible for export/import airline operation, and coordinate with relevant internal/external parties (e.g. Head office, Port Authorities, CAA, etc.);
  4. ULD and Accessories Management: Manage ULD and accessories stock control;
  5. Cargo Irregularities Resolution: Handle cargo irregularities and deal with customer complaints;
  6. Shift Schedule: Be able to work rotating shifts including late nights, early mornings, holidays and weekends according to roster.

Requirements

  • Leadership and Multitasking: Have excellent leadership, multitasking, communication, and coordination skills;
  • Problem-Solving and Teamwork: Be able to react quickly, solve problems and is a team player;
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship;
  • Bilingualism: Bilingual is a plus.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and above or equivalent experience.

Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum.
