Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations to meet their needs and the needs of their pet.
  • Lead a team of sales associates by providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure they are meeting sales goals and providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by ensuring that shelves are stocked, merchandise is facing, and the store is tidy.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
  • Assist in the training and development of team members by providing coaching and feedback.
  • Understand and communicate Pet Pros policies and procedures to customers and team members.
  • Assist in evaluating and writing employee reviews.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and home office staff.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Able to lift up to 45 pounds, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb a ladder.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Highly accountable and has integrity.
  • Has the flexibility to work within our normal store operating hours, including weekends.
  • Ability to delegate.
  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly, both written and verbally.
